NAVCA- Personalisation Health Check
NAVCA has developed a diagnostic tool which focuses on personalisation in social care, but could be adapted for health services, or other services where personalised approaches are being developed. The tool aims to help development workers to:
* assess an organisations' readiness for personalisation
* help them identify areas of strength and weakness, new opportunities and development needs in relation to the personalisation agenda
* help produce a practical action plan to enable organisations to gear up for personalisation.

ACEVO- Personal Budget Guides
As part of ACEVO's Personalisation Commission, the following guides have been produced to support third sector organisations in the transformation.

* Personalisation: A new approach to marketing
* Developing a person-centered workforce
Getting Personal: measuring providers' progress towards personalisation
Voluntary Organisations Disability Group (VODG) and Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) have worked together to develop this tool aimed at adult social care providers. The tool looks at personalisation from four perspectives: Person, Team, Organisation and Market.
The second phase of the launch of this tool will be in December.
Understanding Personalisation: Implications for third sector infrastructure and their work with organisations on the frontline
This report, by Chris Dayson of the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research, Sheffield Hallam University, provides a range of recommendations for local infrastructure organisations that would support front line organisations adapt to providing personalised services

Health and Social Care Forum Presentations on Personalisation June 2010
The Third Sector Health and Social Care Forum focused on personalisation in June. They invited speakers from ADASS- the North East Association of Directors of Adult Social Services, the North East RIEP (the Regional Improvement and Empowerment Partnership), the Regional Department of Health Transformation Team and South Tyneside Adult Social Services. Progress for Providers- Helen Sanderson Associates
This is a self assessment tool, developed by providers and commissioners, to help providers think about their progress in responding to the personalisation agenda. The tool particularly focuses on delivering personalised, individually costed services and individual service funds. It was developed for providers supporting anyone who uses adult social care. This includes organisations that provide advice and guidance or equipment services. It was developed by providers of varying sizes with a user led organisation.
Self-Directed Support in Hartlepool 2006-2009
