Chief Executive
Our current Chief Executive Janet Hunter is about to retire after 10 years, during which time the Trust has been transformed. We are seeking to appoint a new Chief Executive to lead this well established and successful charity based in Newcastle upon Tyne. We are looking for an exceptional person who can operate without day-to-day direction or supervision to deliver the Strategic Business and Action Plans. You will be good at building and managing teams, networks and partnerships, with a demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities within tight deadlines.
Northern Learning Trust works across Tyne and Wear, Northumberland and County Durham delivering Skills for Life, Skills for Work, Family Learning and Mentoring programmes in areas of disadvantage.
An empathy with the Trust's aims and experience of charities is essential. You will be an exceptional, self-motivated person looking for a long-term, challenging and a worthwhile role leading an expanding and lively organisation.
