Regional Economic Strategy
Every three years a Regional Economic Strategy is produced or reviewed by One NorthEast on behalf of the region. The Regional Economic Strategy (RES), 'Leading the Way' sets out how the region can create greater sustainable prosperity up to 2016.  Although the RES will be merged with the Regional Spatial Strategy to form the new Integrated Regional Strategy in 2010, it is likely that many of the key targets identified in 'Leading the Way' will remain.
