Contracts Matter

VONNE is one of a number of voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations that are working in partnership to develop a mechanism to help support VCS organisations in the contracting process, particularly in contracting with skills and employability funders.

In consultation with the sector the partnership have developed a supply chain model which they believe will support more VCS organisations to gain a bigger share of the contracts available within the region.  The model had the working title of VCS Skills & Employability Contracting Hub and since its development it has been renamed (via a competition) as Contracts Matter.

The partnership has been successful in accessing funding to run and test Contracts Matter as a two-year pilot.

Membership

Contracts Matter is a membership-based organisation, which only VCS organisations will be eligible to join. Members will be asked to provide a profile of their organisation including areas of delivery, geographic coverage, past performance, and referees etc.
