National Council for Voluntary Child Care Organisations (NCVCCO)
NCVCCO is an umbrella organisation whose members are all registered charities that work with children, young people and their families. They range from very large national organisations to small local based charities.
The regional network of the NCVCCO is chaired by Jonathan Ewan.

Regional Active Participation (RAP) Group
The Regional Active Participation group (RAP) is a network for the North East of England and includes professionals from all sectors working across all age groups of children and young people. From your local health service to your local strategic partnership, more and more people are required to consider the views of children and young people and involve them in decision-making.

SmartJustice for Young People
In 2006 SmartJustice, the Prison Reform Trust campaigning arm, focused on raising awareness of the rising numbers of young people imprisoned in the UK.

Children's Workforce Development Council
Main objectives:
- To support workforce strategies at a regional and local level (Local Integrated Workforce Strategies, PVI involvement, Participation)
- To focus on regional collaboration, develop networks/structure for stakeholder and employer engagement to fulfill CWDC's role as a sector skills agency
- To identify and deliver on regional/local implications of national Workforce Reform projects (Integrated Working, Diversity, Integrated Qualifications Framework)
- To identify and understand regional trends, issues and challenges for Children's Workforce
- To support Workforce Reform ensuring ownership at a local level
- Sustain the work between CWDC and TDA by reflecting national joint protocols at a regional level
- Work in Partnership with other Sector Skills Councils in support of the Children's Agenda
- Work in partnership with Training providers to ensure employer led workforce planning and development
