Are you inundated with newsletters and ebulletins but are unsure if they are all relevant to your areas of work or worried that you are missing important news?

Well, you are not alone. This is very common in the sector and to try and combat this VONNE have produced a list of newsletters and ebulletins which we use to support us in our work.

General Policy

VONNE ebulletin

VONNE is the regional infrastructure body for the voluntary and community sector (VCS) in the North East of England. VONNE represent over 600 charities, voluntary organisations, community groups, networks and social enterprises from across the region and produce a fortnightly ebulletin with the latest news, consultations, jobs, events.

BECON ebulletin

BECON is the regional infrastructure organisation for black, ethnic minority voluntary and community sector organisations in the North East. The ebulletin provides policy news, events, consultations and jobs.

Civil Society enews

Civil Society eNews is the free weekly national news bulletin from journalists at Civil Society Media. Each bulletin will bring you up-to-date on all the latest news from the voluntary and community sector.

Society Guardian Briefing

The Society Guardian Briefing provides the latest news, analysis and comments from public services and the voluntary sector on a daily basis with a round up of blogs too.

Third Sector Magazine Daily bulletin

Third Sector Daily news provides the latest national news, fundraising initiatives, campaigns, financial news, people moves and jobs.

Newstart Magazine Hot News bulletin

New Start is the independent resource for regeneration, economic development and sustainable communities and provides a summary of news on a weekly basis via the weekly 'Hot News' bulletin.

Directory of Social Change enews

DSC e-news is a free monthly E-newsletter which will help you keep up-to-date with the latest publications, training, events, campaigns and special offers from DSC.

NACVA LINX - Local Infrastructure News eXtra

The fortnightly email bulletin supplements the comprehensive policy and information service already offered by Circulation . It helps to inform local infrastructure organisations and wider players, both in the sector and those who work closely with it by providing more immediate news on what NAVCA is working on, highlights of sector-wide issues, including consultations and policy news, funding opportunities with time-limited deadlines and events.

IPPR North ebulletin

ippr has established itself as one of the most influential think tanks in British politics. The monthly ebulletin provides information on new publications, policy research, forthcoming publications, articles and events.

Institute for Local Governance (ILG) ebulletin

‘ILG briefing’ is the newsletter of the ILG – a regular review for partners, stakeholders and others in the public, private and third sector interested in the practical application of research and expertise between North East Universities and the world of practice.

Bdaily Business News Network e-bulletin

Provides daily North East business news, events and jobs.

Info 4 Local

info4local, the one-stop information gateway for people working in local public services. The weekly ebulletin provides updates on different government policies and departments. You can choose to receive information from subjects relevant to your area of work.

BBC Politics Show North East & Cumbria

Sign up for the Daily Politics email newsletter and every weekday morning before the programme you'll receive an outline of what's coming up on the show.

The newsletter will have a link to the Andrew Neil's Daily Politics blog for you to leave your comments, along with links to video highlights from previous shows and a week's worth of Daily Politics in BBC iPlayer as well as our daily video newsletter.

Business Link monthly enewsletter

News Link is a regular monthly business update offering local, regional and national news, information and events relevant to your business.

North East Regional Information Partnership

The NERIP Newsletter is sent out electronically, every two months, to the 2000 or so contacts on the NERIP mailing list. These are mainly people working for the range of public sector organisations in the North East, either in the fields of public sector policy/strategy or research. The newsletter contains details of current research that's relevant to policy in the region, forthcoming events, new developments of interest to colleagues undertaking research or developing policy in the North East, and details of job vacancies.

Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership

The fortnightly ebulletin provides updates on the work of the partnership and events.

The Centre for Social Justice

The Centre for Social Justice is an independent think tank established by Rt Hon Iain Duncan Smith MP in 2004 to seek effective solutions to the poverty that blight parts of Britain. The weekly enews provides updates from the CSJ.

Arts Council England, North East Newsletter

Arts Council England will keep you up to date about what's going on in your region; it aims to develop, promote and invest in the art arts in England.

NCVO Campainging and Influencing

A free national network for people influencing policy and campaigning for change across the voluntary and community sector. This newsletter provides updates on latest news, events and resources is sent out every month.

Sheila McKechnie Foundation

The monthly ebulletin provides updates about local, regional and national campaigns as well as information about forthcoming events.

Children England’s news bulletin is produced weekly and is designed to keep you up-to-date with the latest developments in children and family policy.
