Climate Emergency Roundtable in Durham

Registration is closed for this event
Climate Change is an existential challenge to humanity. VONNE wants to support the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector to lead on responding to this challenge in the North East.

This roundtable event in Durham is the third of three which are being held around the region. We have previously held an event in Newcastle and will be hosting one in Stockton on 23rd July.

A short update paper drawn from discussions at the first roundtable will be sent in advance to those registering for this event.

Join VONNE and Peter Stark OBE to discuss how the North East voluntary, community and social enterprise sector can lead on the response to climate change.

Read Peter Stark's blog on how we could begin to address the challenges in the North East and the possibility of a Regional Gathering on Climate Change.

The event is open to anyone in the VCSE sector with an interest but numbers will be capped at 24.

For anyone using public transport the train station and bus station are less than a ten minute walk away.

Parking is available but it cannot be guaranteed. Blue badge parking can be reserved ahead of your event on request. There is also off-street metered parking on Flass Street just outside of the grounds.
