VONNE is the lead partner working with the Integrated Care System (ICS) across health and is facilitating the North East & North Cumbria (NENC) ICS VCSE Leadership programme, funded via NHS England. This programme is aimed at supporting the involvement of VCSE leaders within ICS governance and structures to support collaborative working and co-production in health and care services.
As lead for this work, VONNE has established a Regional VCSE Partnership Forum made up of representatives from VCSE organisations and networks representing both communities of interest and communities of place. This includes nominated local infrastructure organisation (LIO) representaives from across the geography and key representatives from organisations and networks representing vulnerable groups i.e. mental health, older people, children & young people, long term conditions, multiple & complex needs.
We are also working with the national VCS Emergencies Partnership led by the Red Cross/NAVCA as the VCSE regional Liaison Lead to co-ordinate collection of local intelligence on Covid-related response issues impacting on the sector and their beneficiaries. VONNE is representing the VCSE sector on the two regional Recovery Coordination Groups and the relevant working groups, and will use the Partnership Forum to ensure involvement and engagement of the VCSE into the recovery plans across the region.
The Regional VCSE Partnership Forum will therefore co-ordinate engagement and involvement of the sector to enable effective collaboration and coproduction with wider stakeholders.
The agenda for this meeting has not yet been finalised and will be shared with attendees shortly.
