Events Icon
This online training session, delivered by VONNE and the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration, is designed to give an introduction to health and wellbeing research; what it is, why it is important and how the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector can be involved at each stage of the research cycle.

This session will aim to help you:

  • Understand what research and evaluation are
  • Reflect on the role of communities in research and evaluation
  • Understand why you may want to become involved in research, and the ways that you can do this
  • Be familiar with the different stages of a research project
  • Build awareness of where to access further support and resources

This session is open to anyone working in a VCSE organisation in the North East and North Cumbria, with interest or experience of any level in health and care research. We are delivering this session as part of our VCSE Research Partnerships work.

Registration for this session will close on Wednesday 28th January.
