Office for Civil Society North East Brexit Round Table

The Office for Civil Service Team from the Department of Digital, Media, Culture and Sport would like to invite you to a round table to discuss Brexit and it’s impact on local and regional VCSE organisations.

The Office for Civil Society (OCS) has the responsibility for building a bigger, stronger society.
It does this by promoting volunteering, philanthropy, community and social action, socially responsible business, social investment and the National Citizen Service.
It also acts as the cross-Government hub for relations with the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector.

The OCS EU Exit Team are here to support the VCSE sector through Brexit.

Our team is working across government to champion the role of the sector and ensure that your views and interests are considered during both the Brexit process and as new domestic funding programmes are developed.
We are working with colleagues across government to ensure your sector is linked into the relevant departments as work progresses.

These round tables are one of a range of ways we are engaging with the VCSE sector, to ensure that we have really good insight into your concerns and aspirations about Brexit.

Places are limited so will go to the first 19 people who respond.

Jennie Noble is available to answer any questions about the event, please confirm your attendance by registering via the link above.
