The role of the VCSE sector: Food waste and the climate emergency
The North East England Climate Coalition’s (NEECCo’s) Waste and Resources Planning Group is looking at the role food waste has in contributing to and addressing climate change. We are looking at ways we can support and add value to the region's local authorities who will be introducing food waste collections for North East residents.
Working with the VONNE Climate Action Alliance we are reaching out to all VCSE sector organisations working with communities around food, reuse and food waste to explore how we may work together and examine what the issues are. We would love you to join us to input your thoughts and ideas around this important topic.
