SkillsBridge is Moving

SkillsBridge is aimed at bringing support to voluntary and community sector organisations through a coordinated programme of professional volunteering.

SkillsBridge taps into the expertise in the private and public sectors to give voluntary and community organisations the skills and tools that they need to survive and thrive in the current economic climate. SkillsBridge has been creating these partnerships over the last six years, and many have formed enduring relationships, many thousands of hours of professional volunteering have been given, and hundreds of local voluntary and community organisations have benefited.

SkillsBridge is now moving to be part of Newcastle CVS, but will continue to offer a service across Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and Durham. Andrew White will continue to coordinate SkillsBridge support in the interim ahead of a project officer being appointed in due course.

In the meantime, all current partnership arrangements will continue as now. If you have any queries or would like to request support from SkillsBridge, you can contact Andrew at SkillsBridge@cvsnewcastle.org.uk.
