Tacking homelessness, including domestic violence is one of the Government’s domestic priorities, but what are we doing about it in the North East?
This event from the Chartered Institute of Housing will include presentations from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) on the Government’s Rough Sleeping Strategy; Durham County Council and the North East’s Somewhere Safe to Stay initiative; Homes England Move On fund; and from the Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA).
Attendees will have a much fuller knowledge of what is happening on this crucial agenda, linked to their own work or wider development.
Benefits of attending
This event will give people a useful overview of what different partners are doing in the North East to tackle homelessness, including domestic violence, an area of activity where it is crucial we collaborate and understand the whole picture and aren’t just working in isolation.
This event is free to attend for CIH members and £40.00 + VAT for non-members.
