Climate Emergency: Making practical changes in your organisation

Thursday, 14 May, 2020 - 13:00 to 15:00
Connected Voice, Third Floor Higham House, Higham Place, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne NE1 8AF

Climate change is an issue that everyone is talking about, but it can be hard to identify practical steps that your organisation can put in place. This session from Connnected Voice will look at:

- How funders are increasingly looking for organisations to have an effective environmental policy
- What elements should be in a contemporary and meaningful environmental policy
- How can you engage the communities you serve in making a difference
- Ten achievable and practical things you can do to make a difference

The session will be especially useful for organisations that do not currently have an environmental policy or procedures, or are looking to update existing ones to reflect the declaration of a climate emergency.

This event is free to voluntary and community organisations operating in Newcastle and Gateshead. Book your place on the eventbrite website.
