Community Energy England and Co-op Energy have created an interactive and user-led day full of workshops, taster sessions, working areas and the Great Energy Escape Room.

'People Powered Futures', the 2019 Community Energy Conference, takes place on 22 June in Sheffield in partnership with Northern Powergrid, Electricity North West and Sheffield Hallam University.

The agenda features a host of experienced practitioners, consultants, academics and public figures discussing a broad range of topics which will appeal to intrigued newcomers and highly experienced delegates alike. A focus for the day is how to catalyse the Community Energy movement in Yorkshire, Humberside and the North East by setting up a regional hub which will help to increase the amount of community-owned renewables across the region.

Tickets are free, the venue is next to the train station and lunch is provided.
