What can you and can’t you do with other people’s personal data? This free workshop from Connected Voice looks at the key rules when it comes to collecting and using personal data; and the type of measures needed to keep such data safe.

It will consider the essential elements of data protection law; and the secure handling of personal data; and will be of use to anyone in charities, the voluntary sector and social enterprises that handles personal data.

Participants will:
- Have an understanding of what is and is not allowed, in terms of the law.
- Understand the importance of, and steps needed, to keep personal data secure.
- Be more confident in applying best practice to data protection.

This workshop is being delivered by David Green, Green Pepper Consulting. A social enterprise providing online and traditional training, and consultancy to organisations working for social change.

Book your place on the Connected Voice website.

Connected Voice training is open to VCSE organisations serving Gateshead or Newcastle, although safeguarding sessions are open to organisations from across the North East.
