Youth Focus North East would like to invite practitioners who work with young people to join them in a discussion session about youth loneliness.
Loneliness can be difficult and sensitive a subject for a young person to talk about, but, if you create a safe and supportive environment many young people will begin to talk about their feelings and experiences of loneliness.
This ninety minute discussion session will focus on the tools and techniques that can be useful in order to help young people talk about loneliness and isolation. Youth Focus North East as part of the National Youth Partnership, funded by the Co-op Foundation, have produced a range of tools, but are keen to hear from colleagues across the country on the approaches they take.
There will be an opportunity to share what you do, to learn from each other and explore where new tools and resources could be developed.
Whether you are an expert on youth loneliness, or you have little knowledge and just want to learn more, please join the session.
To ensure there is enough space for a good conversation, numbers of places will be limited for the session to 15 people.
Register you place on Eventbrite.
