Join North of Tyne Cabinet Member for Employability and Inclusion Cllr Joyce McCarty and North of Tyne Mayor Jamie Driscoll at the launch of the Good Work Pledge. 'Good Work' that provides security, skills, progression opportunities, a decent standard of living, promotes health and well-being is a key element of our ambitions for an inclusive economy.
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused unprecedented changes to our economy and has reshaped the way in which businesses and residents connect. Good Work is a central component of our economic recovery plan and the Good Work Pledge provides a platform to recognise best practice, new ways of working and collectively reimagine the opportunities for work in the North of Tyne.
The launch event is an opportunity for you to hear directly from early adopters of the Good Work Pledge on adapting to COVID-19, why they signed up, and why you should too.
