Both The National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) and Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums (TWAM) work towards reducing barriers to engagement with cultural heritage, often working in partnership or directly with those who have specific access needs.
This event will highlight how each organisation has done this in its work to date and give a clear picture of how NLHF funding and TWAM support can be obtained to enable greater access to the wider benefits heritage engagement can give.
It will be open to all organisations interested in accessing support for disabled audiences or looking to develop their organisation’s activity to widen their audiences.
