This online session is for you if you are new to the world of safeguarding. It will give you an overview of the key issues about both adults and childrens safeguarding that any community organisation, charity or social enterprise needs to know.
By the end of this session you will:
• Have an entry level understanding of safeguarding
• Know to how to recognise and report abuse or harm
• Understand the importance of responding to safeguarding concerns
• Feel able to begin making safeguarding part of your day to day activities
The session will also cover some of the key issues in safeguarding in the current situation with COVID-19
For security and practical reasons, you can only book one place for yourself, using the email address you use on the device you'll be using to participate in the online session. If a colleague wants to attend, they will need to book separately themselves.
