Join Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales for the launch of the Small Charities Data hub. A new resource pulling together multiple quantitative data on small charities all in one easy to access hub. The data, spanning over five years, highlights the financial pressure small charities faced before the onset of the health crisis.
The Small Charities Data hub is an initiative led by Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales in partnership with the Small Charities Coalition, NCVO, LocalGiving, the FSI, Locality, 360Giving and more. The hub presents data on small charities across the UK (defined as charities with an annual turnover of less than £1 million).
Alongside the hub, the Lloyds Bank foundation is publishing a new analysis on a cohort of small charities highlighting the range of ways they have adapted to provide vital services to people affected by COVID-19 over the past nine months.
Drawing insights from the Small Charities Data hub and Charities Responding to COVID-19 analysis, we’ll be discussing the long term trends affecting small charities, the more immediate impact of the pandemic, and crucially, the outlook for small charities as we look towards 2021 and beyond.
At the event you will hear from:
Dr Cat Walker, Founder of The Researchery who led in assembling the data and evidence in the Small Charities Data hub
Rita Chadha, Chief Executive of The Small Charities Coalition
Sarah Vibert, Director of Public Policy and Volunteering at NCVO
Alex Van Vliet, Research & Learning Manager at Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales
Paul Streets OBE, Chief Executive at Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales
Join the event to learn about the new Small Charities Data hub and discuss what the future looks like for the 160,000 small charities across the UK.
