Lockdown loneliness and the voluntary and charity sector’s response

Tuesday, 17 November, 2020 - 09:30 to 11:00
Online

Join the National Lottery Community Fund and a panel of speakers to discuss the impact lockdown has had on loneliness and how the voluntary and community sector responded to it. We will be sharing learning and ways of working learnt from communities in the first lockdown, to help communities as we continue and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sophy Proctor, Head of Funding at The National Lottery Community Fund, will chair the conversation and facilitate a Q&A so you can put your questions directly to our panel. The Covid-19 pandemic has seen loneliness affect communities in different ways, with those who would not ordinarily be at risk of prolonged loneliness experiencing it during lockdown. With the country on the cusp of a second wave of the virus and more areas entering into local lockdown, it is important we share our learning and discuss how the sector can continue to play a vital role in reaching and supporting our communities.
