In recognition of mental health week this event, from NHS England, gathers a variety of speakers together to share their experiences of social prescribing and connecting with community assets to find ways to bridge the gap between clinical parts of the system and community based support, that supports the wider determinants of health, reduces loneliness and increases connection.
The learning objectives for this webinar are to raise awareness and understanding of:
- The effects loneliness can have on people’s mental health and the power of connection.
- Social prescribing and the role of link workers in facilitating connection to assets in communities.
- How social prescribing link workers are working proactively with people and communities to promote connection and reduce loneliness.
- Shared learning and connection through the live chat and Q&A.
