This event has been arranged to outline the key elements of the European Social Fund (ESF) Priority Axis 1 Open Call due to be published during week commencing the 9th September.
The North East Technical Assistance team will be providing details on the funding available, focus of the call, and specific requirements. The event will also give organisations and prospective applicants the opportunity to network with other potential partners, including lead organisations.

Other elements of the programme include an overview on the regional labour market in respect of the target groups of these Investment Priorities. As the specifications are high value partnerships and consortia bids will be welcome and outlines from potential lead organisations. The long-term aim will support the North East Local Enterprise Partnership's objective of generating an inclusive economy in the North East region by improving the employability and skills of jobseekers.
Applicants will need to offer the tailored support and advice needed to support unemployed individuals and those disadvantaged in the labour market address their barriers to work and acquire the skills and training needed to move towards and into work.
