Join this free workshop from Third Sector Lab to find out more about safeguarding online.
This workshop is aimed at charities whose service user engagement has moved online. It will be particularly useful for those who provide services to children and young people or vulnerable adults.
The session will cover:
- The principles of a safe online space for staff and participants
- Reviewing and adapting existing organisational policies
- Exploring practical ideas for ensuring safety and wellbeing through planning and delivery of online activities
Marie Gallagher will lead this session. Marie is the Digital Media Coordinator with peer-led mental health charity Mind Waves, creating content across a range of online platforms and delivering digital skills workshops. She has a background in teaching, facilitation and project management across the early years, education and youth work sectors. She specialises in training development and rights-based work with children and young people.
The Curve, from Third Sector Lab, is a series of free, 90-minute workshops for third sector organisations. These online workshops aim to build knowledge around best digital practices, raise awareness of digital tools and ultimately help increase impact with digital.
