Charities and social sector organisations will play a vital role in seeing society through the pandemic and its consequences. However, Covid-19 will have huge and long lasting effects for those organisations, at a time when demand for many of their services is rising significantly.
The Wrigleys charities and social economy team is delivering a series of webinars that will look at restructuring options for these organisations, to put them in the best place possible to help society through the crisis. The webinars are also aimed at stakeholders, such as funders and partners, so they can understand how best to support these organisations through a restructuring process.
Renegotiating the terms on which your organisation is funded can, at times, feel a bit like walking a tight rope. This session will look at the duties of directors and trustees of organisations at times of financial uncertainty, with pointers, hints and tips (including lessons learnt from the 2008/09 financial crisis) for both organisations and their funders, to enable them to best navigate a restructuring of their funding arrangements.
This free webinar, with guest speaker Hazel Peck from Big Society Capital and Guy's and St. Thomas' Charity, will take place via Zoom. Register at wrigleys.co.uk/events/detail/charities-and-social-economy-webinar.
