It is well documented that children and young people’s mental health is a growing need that has been exacerbated by Covid-19. Last summer, young people supported by Barnardo’s said that the current system isn’t working:
“Too many children and young people are having to meet crisis point before they access support - children and young people want to be supported with their mental health and wellbeing at the earliest possible stage, before their needs escalate” *
With the imminent implementation of Integrated Care Systems, this is a key moment to take stock and consider how services can be redesigned and commissioned to build on the acceleration of integrated collaboration throughout the pandemic. It is also an opportune time to consider what an integrated health and social care system could mean for children and young people’s mental health services and lead to better support and outcomes.
In this webinar, delegates will:
- Hear from system leaders in the NHS about latest priorities for mental health, children and young people.
- Gain knowledge and insights into three integrated mental health models of innovation and excellence.
This event will highlight how partnerships and integrated working can effect change to better meet the needs of and improve outcomes for children and young people.
