As part of Small Charity Week North East 2020, Wrigleys Solicitors LLP is pleased to be working with The Community Foundation Tyne & Wear and Northumberland to support the charity and voluntary sector to explore collaborative approaches.
Every charity is looking at ways to innovate and navigate the current pandemic situation, with organisations starting to look to the future and the 'new normal' we are all facing. As the need for greater efficiencies increases, one option for charities to consider is increased working with other parties, including other charities, to create shared projects or trading enterprises, bid for funds, or simply to raise awareness. But it could also include cross sector initiatives with private and public sector organisations.
This online session will cover what charities should do before entering into new arrangements in relation to:
- Risk management
- Protection of the charity's assets, and maximising their use, and
- Important contract terms.
