These pages contain information about how VONNE supports the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector with issues relating to funding.  This includes resources, networks and the work of Funding Information North East (FINE).


FINE provides funding information to the VCSE sector.

FINE EBulletin

This fortnightly ebulletin covers grant and other income generation opportunities and information.

Membership+ holders can subscribe by creating a user account on the VONNE website (click 'Log In' at top of screen), entering your organisation name and subscribing under the 'My Account' page.


Online Funding Directory

Our popular publication, the North East Guide to Grants for Voluntary Organisations is now available as an online directory, fully revised and updated and with search functionality based on locality, type of funding, area of work, etc. 

Hard copies of the Guide are still available, to discuss how to receive a copy please contact us.

How to Access the FINE EBulletin and Online Directory

The FINE ebulletin and access to the Online Funding Directory are exclusively available through our enhanced membership package Membership+, which also includes other benefits such as discounted job advertising and invites to networking events.

Fees depend on your organisation’s turnover, Membership+ Bronze is free for small organisations with a turnover of less than £50,000.

FINE has helped develop a North East Funders' Network.

The North East Funders' Network aims to enable funders to be better networked and informed and work together more effectively to improve and maximise their support to North East communities. The Network meets three times a year and holds collaboration meetings to explore areas of interest or concern.
