Relate (Reducing Parental Conflict Programme)

Part time - Wed - Fri


Overall purpose

  1. To assist the Senior Administrator in supporting Reducing Parental Conflict Programme.

  2. To ensure the timely and accurate provision of reports necessary under the DWP contract.

  3. To support the operational and delivery staff with efficient and accurate communication of information.

Key Activities

  1. Ensure confidentiality for clients, client facing staff and commercial data.

  2. Ensure all DWP and RPCP paperwork is completed and entered onto the systems in an accurate and timely manner, adhering to the timescales and deadlines prescribed by the DWP contract.

  3. To proactively evaluate systems of work and suggest improvements that could be made.

  4. To report issues by exception in a timely manner.

  5. To participate in meetings as required.

  6. To take minutes, when necessary, and produce action points as required.

  7. Communicate with Relate staff and our Partners by a variety of methods to ensure that information is circulated as it is required.

  8. Upload notes and data to official systems.

  9. Assist with the booking of intervention delivery including: delivery venues, refreshments, travel and delivery staff.

Any other duties which may be regarded as reasonable within the nature of the duties and responsibilities of the post as defined, subject to the proviso that any change of a permanent nature shall be incorporated into the job description in specific terms with the Managers agreement.

Key skills and competencies

(All considered essential unless stated otherwise)


  • Experience of running office systems

  • Experience of working in a small diverse team

  • Experience of operating within a quality framework, preferable on Government contracts.

  • Use of the Government’s PRaP system (Desirable)

  • Good knowledge of MS Office with in depth knowledge of Excel

  • Experience of working with Government departments (Desirable)

  • Experience of working with Front Line Workers who are dealing with vulnerable / challenging clients (Desirable).

  • Capable of working on own initiative.
