Our Bid Writer and Fundraiser will work with the Chief Officer to develop a sustainable funding plan for the organisation and take an active part in writing grant funding bids to sustain our service delivery. They will put into action, a fundraising plan for Search over the next 12 months. The post holder will lead on organising fundraising events and activities, develop relationships with corporate and individual donors, whilst increase Search’s online presence to support this work.
This exciting new role requires a friendly, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who has experience in bid writing, community work and community fundraising. The successful candidate will have the ability to work alone and the confidence to lead others in this work. Skills in engagement and relationship building with funders, donors, corporate and statutory organisations as well as individuals, are essential. Knowledge of social media, digital communications and marketing tools would also be a distinct advantage.

Hours: 20 hours per week
Salary: Search Salary Scale 12 £21,589 pro-rata based on a 37 hour week (£11,670 pa actual)
Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays pro rata
