Bridge is an exciting employability project operating throughout Northumberland, funded by The European Social Fund and the National Lottery, through the National Lottery Community Fund as part of the Building Better Opportunities Programme.  Northumberland County Council and six voluntary and community sector delivery partners are working in partnership, in delivering the programme and supporting long term unemployed and economically inactive people.

We are seeking a Communications and Information Officer for this exciting project.

The Communications Officer will work as part of the Bridge team, located with Northumberland Community & Voluntary Action.  The role will develop and co-ordinate the information and communication function of Bridge, working with team members and the partnership board to ensure a high level of communication is delivered through a range of mechanisms in order to raise the profile of Bridge across all stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with great ideas, enthusiasm and vision to raise the profile of the Bridge Project, using a range of media including press releases, social media and e bulletins.  The successful candidate will produce and support the distribution of a range of promotional material and be responsible for ensuring all stakeholders understand the programme.

Candidates who have not heard by the interview date have been unsuccessful.
