Bridge Project Counsellor at Cygnus Support

Cygnus Support is a vibrant charity with a strong reputation for providing mental health and wellbeing services. We offer talking therapies, coaching, workshops and wellbeing support to individuals across Northumberland.

Cygnus Support is a key partner in the Bridge Project which is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund as part of the Building Better Opportunities Programme. This is an employability programme which offers personalised interventions to some of the most vulnerable people in our communities supporting them to move closer to employment. Cygnus Support’s role in the Bridge Project is to lead on the provision of high quality talking therapy, coaching and training interventions. 

We are looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic individual(s) who can engage, inspire and prompt change through providing high quality one to one counselling. 

This post can be carried out on either a full or part time basis with a minimum of 14 hours and maximum of 35 hours.

Bridge Project Counsellor

35 hours

£ 21,735 pa (pro rata for part time)

Based in Ashington, working across Northumberland.

Fixed term for 12 months minimum, extension subject to funding. (Should you wish to discuss this please contact our CEO or Counselling Manager for an informal chat.)
