Salary:                            SP1 £19,007 per annum pro rata (£9.88/hr)

Part Time:                        27.5 hrs per week, Mon to Fri

Based at:                        Acomb, Hexham NE4 4SA & Coundon, Bishop Auckland DL14 8JZ

Journey Enterprises is a local charity which was founded by parents of young people with learning disability and complex needs 40 years ago. Launched in Northumberland we now operate across the north east. We have four Day Centres: Blyth, Hexham, Newcastle and Bishop Auckland.

The Charity provides life-skills and employability training for adults with learning disability, and runs social enterprises to serve our local communities. Clients play a key part in the success of social enterprises by using the experience as a stepping stone to employment.

Business Administrators are based at each of our operating sites.  Working in a small team of Administrators, you will be part of an enthusiastic, committed team supporting people with learning disabilities to achieve their life outcomes. 

Business Administrators report to the Hub Manager each morning for their Hub administration tasks to be assigned and supervised, and to the Business Support Manager for whole-Company work in the afternoon.   Each of our Business Administrators is assigned specific areas of responsibility for whole-Company work. This role involves responsibility for financial administration.
