This is a new and exciting role in our Training and Children and Young People Services preferably taking up post in July 2022 to March 2023. Any extension is subject to further funding being secured.
The work aims to tackle and address multiple barriers faced by Black and minoritised women across the North East who have unmet needs.
You will be required to deliver of 1-1 and group career advice. Construct and facilitate a programme of employability activities and sessions for diverse groups of service users to enhance and promote inclusion of diverse groups of Black and minoritised women based on their needs and demands.
You will support the development of our training and youth projects aligned with local, regional and national training and youth strategies and priorities whilst working within a team of committed to the empowerment social inclusion and wellbeing of Black and minoritised women.
For success in this role, it is necessary to have a “can do” positive attitude and commitment to the diligent delivery of high quality support to women, improving their employment outcomes, wellbeing and advancing inclusion.

You may have regular contact with vulnerable women at risk, and on occasion their children, and will need to demonstrate commitment to safeguarding and protecting all service users from harm and abuse.
