Sunderland Counselling Service wishes to recruit: Children’s Psychological Well Being Practitioner (CWP) – Full time permanent position (37 ½ hours a week)
Salary: Agenda for Change band 5 comparable
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Sunderland Counselling Service for an energetic individual who holds a post graduate diploma in low intensity CBT, with experience of undertaking, planning and delivering low intensity psychological interventions. Whilst this post is to work with children from birth to 18 and their families, we welcome applications from those with an adult PWP qualification, but have other relevant experience and qualifications for working with children and young people.
The post holder will be working in a Community CAMHS locality base within Sunderland. The post holder will be engaged in the delivery and development of the service and will work with children and young people whose lives are, or have been, affected by events to such a level that it impacts upon their emotional and mental well-being.
All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
