An exciting vacancy has arisen for an experienced Communications Manager to join our team and help us deliver our new Corporate Plan. Reporting to the Executive Director (Policy & Public Affairs), this is the perfect role for someone who enjoys variety and who can demonstrate the full breadth of communications and marketing skills, from working at a strategic level planning and executing multi-media campaigns, to getting stuck into day-to-day communications activity - creating content and liaising with our membership.

Key duties will include:
- developing and managing an integrated, multi-media marketing and communications strategy for the NHC that maximises our impact and effectiveness amongst members and stakeholders.
- Ensuring coordinated internal and external communications across all stakeholders.
- Ensuring that the NHC brand and reputation is developed, maintained and upheld at all times.
- Delivering the NHC’s commercial requirements around sponsorship.

Educated to Communications/Marketing degree level or equivalent, you will have strong copy writing and verbal skills. You will be strategic in your outlook, yet able to react quickly to new opportunities that arise. You will be a team player and be confident at managing staff, projects and budgets.

This role is a temporary maternity cover for up to 12 months. We are flexible around a working pattern between 20 and 30 hours per week (please note, salary stated above is full time equivalent).
