Are you proactive, dynamic and motivated to work with a range of charities with local, national and international reach?
VONNE and MEA Trust are looking for a Coordination and Development Support Officer to develop and deliver a programme of activities to support the tenants of MEA House, VONNE members and the wider voluntary community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector across the North East.
This role will suit someone from a communications, development or administrative background.
Approach to work is more important than qualifications, so if you’re a self-starter, capable of working under your own initiative and prioritising your own workload, and you’re able to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, this might be the perfect job for you.
The role will require flexible working and is for 22.2 hours per week, offered initially as a fixed-term 12 month contract, which is likely to extend subject to funding.
You will be working within VONNE, the regional support body for the North East VCSE sector, in a friendly and supportive team, based in MEA House, a hub for charities in Newcastle upon Tyne city centre.
Closing date for applications: Monday 25th November 2019 (12 noon)
Interviews: Thursday 5th December 2019
