Role: Director of Operations
Location: Willow Burn Hospice, Lanchester, Durham.
Hours: 37.5 hrs per week
Salary: Up to £55k dependant on skills and experience.
Reports to: Board of Trustees
Line Manager: Chair
We have been providing high quality care services in a beautiful setting for more than 30 years and are looking for an able and enthusiastic person for this key post to lead Willow Burn Hospice and to make a real difference within our community.
The Director of Operations will be seen as the leader of the hospice by all stakeholders, including staff, volunteers, professionals, grant funders, donors and partners. They will drive financial sustainability and be responsible for the effective operational management of the hospice and best practice throughout.
The ideal candidate will have a successful and recent achievement record within a multi-faceted environment and hold a degree or equivalent qualification.
We are looking for someone with exceptional interpersonal skills and empathy and the ability to analyse and interpret data including financial information.
Willow Burn Hospice is a regulated and commissioned charity and this is a permanent position.
