The National Lottery Fund, the largest distributor of good causes money from the National Lottery, has launched Talent Match, a national scheme designed by young people for young people, with the aim of helping those aged 18-24 who are struggling the most to find career opportunities.
The Wise Group, an inspiring social enterprise that makes a positive difference to people, communities and society, is proud to be selected to lead this project in the North East of England. We are excited to be part of the £108 million investment to tackle youth unemployment in a total of 21 areas of England.
Talent Match North East is a flexible project running until March 2020 that is targeting young people who are furthest from the jobs market, including those who are completely outside of the benefits, work and training system and facing severe barriers to gaining the skills they need to get into work.
To support our Talent Match Management structure, we are looking for an Employer Partnership Manager (Specialist) to join our team.
The post holder will establish and maintain strong relationships with employers to secure appropriate job vacancies and work placement opportunities for individuals. To secure work based learning opportunities and vacancies for customers to realise their long term aspirations and goals and to develop ties across all relevant sectors.
The ideal candidate will have excellent exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence others internally and externally. They will be able to plan and prioritise effectively in order to achieve targets and meet deadlines and be able to operate with the highest level of integrity.
A full driving licence is essential and the use of a car would be advantageous as extensive travelling is involved in this post.
