SNCBC strive to support North-East residents to secure and sustain employment and we recognise the important role the business sector play in this. We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic self-motivated individual to join our delivery team to engage, and build sustained relationships, with North-East employers in key sectors to secure their recruitment opportunities which are suitable for our workless client base.
The successful candidate will have a proven ability to engage with the business sector, be a networker and influencer, and a passionate individual with a track record in achieving and exceeding pre-agreed performance targets. They will build sustainable relationships with small, medium and large employers and intermediaries which in turn will help secure repeat vacancies from an existing customer base.
The role will require you to adopt a range of communication tools to support and manage key relationships with employers including 1-2-1 meetings, networking events, group presentations, written proposals and telephone conversations and will be proficient in setting up and attending business meetings with decision makers. You will have proven experience of self-sourcing opportunities through networking, word of mouth referral, telephone, desk research, events and cold calling coupled with the ability to successfully manage employer accounts and address any delivery issues as they arise. You may come from a recruitment consultancy, business development or field sales background.
