Children North East exists because growing up can be hard. We work with babies, children and young people through the rollercoaster of growing up in their families, schools and communities.
We are looking to appoint a Family Co-ordinator to lead the planning, delivery, recording, monitoring and evaluation of non-clinical service activities for babies and parents in line with Children North East policies, service procedures and legal requirements, to promote the importance of nurturing early relationships between parents and babies in the first 1001 critical days and to work closely with our NEWPIP (Newcastle Parent Infant Partnership) therapists and Clinical Lead to ensure all activities are planned and delivered in line with parent infant therapeutic principles.
Salary £26,683 to £29,288 per annum pro rata (Scale Points 29-32). Please note that appointments are usually made with a salary offer starting at the lower end of the scale.
Hours: A normal working week is 37 hours (full time).
Place of work: This post is based at the Cowgate Centre, Houghton Avenue, Newcastle upon Tyne NE5 3UT.
Length of Contract: This role is fixed term for a period of 12 months.
