Finance Officer 16 hours per week.
Funded for 12 months by Chester-le-Street & District Area Action Partnership
£24,000 per annum. Pro rata (£10,971)
This post has been developed to provide a finance officer support role to 4 charities based at Bullion Hall, these are 1) Bullion Community Resource Centre 2) Wheels to Work County Durham 3) Culture for Kids and 4 ) Integrating Children. It is anticipated that the post holder will support the work of treasurers for each of the charities and act as mentor to the Chief Executive Officers as required by the charities.
Allocation of time has been agreed in a weekly split of hours 6:4:1:5 respectively although week to week there may be some flexibility. As agreed with each of the charities.
Applicants will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of managing charitable accounts and payroll and use of various online accounting software packages such as QuickBooks.
The post holder will be based in Bullion Hall where all of the charities are located although we recognise that some of this work can be done remotely from home.
