Pathways 4 All

Parent led and family focused, Pathways 4 All is an established charity celebrating it’s 10th year this April. By providing a specialist play centre and range of social activities, we support hundreds of families across the North East of England who have children (from birth to age 25) with a range of disabilities and/or additional needs.

Day to day Pathways 4 All is run by founder and CEO Lynn McManus, a parent of 5 disabled children herself. Lynn is supported by a small staff and volunteer team who ensure the running of the centre and all activities based there.

In recognition of the charity's growth over the last 10 years, and as part of our commitment to be a sustainable forward-thinking organisation, we are looking for a dynamic person to take on this exciting role of Funding Officer.

The role is a varied one, but the three main areas of responsibility we envisage are

Grants and Trust’s                                                   Approx 40% of the role

Events and Individual Fundraising                          Approx 30% of the role

Corporate Partnerships                                           Approx 30% of the role

The post-holder will add value to the organisation’s existing work in the areas above – consolidating and bringing a high-quality approach to existing relationships and income streams, whilst bringing drive and energy to develop new opportunities.

There is real opportunity to progress within the role, and to help shape the future of Pathways 4 All’s funding mix as we look ahead to the next 10 years and beyond.

We welcome applications from candidates looking for full time or job share opportunities and feel the role lends itself to being split between two post holders - the first post 2 days per week covering Grants and Trusts and a second post 3 days a week covering events, individual fundraising and corporate partnerships. Hours of work are flexible.

Closing date is Friday April 3rd at 12noon. We welcome visits from prospective candidates. Application forms can be downloaded from our website www.pathways4all.co.uk and for further information please contact Centre Manager, Victoria Williamson on 01912665233 or vicky@pathways4all.co.uk
