HOWFIT COORDINATOR

£21,181 p.a

Full time - 36.25 hours per week

Fixed term until 31/12/22 with a view to becoming permanent should funding continue

 

Age UK North Tyneside is looking for a self-motivated, organised and experienced Coordinator to administratively support older people in our communities to help them make more of life through home based HowFit exercises.

The post holder will be responsible for coordinating and administering the community based HowFit Exercise Programme for an ageing population across a variety of settings in North Tyneside, aimed at preventing falls and providing falls prevention awareness sessions.

The role is to support and monitor the quality standards including gathering the data metrics within the HowFit service. This service is delivered by a team of trainers at selected community venues throughout the borough including Extra Care Schemes, Care Homes and Sheltered Housing Schemes. The post holder will be expected to coordinate and work with multiple partners to ensure we deliver a consistent and high quality the HowFit service. 

The successful candidate will be expected to develop, expand and support the charity’s the HowFit partnership links, work on the falls prevention agenda and maintain good communication.
