Children North East exists because growing up can be hard. We work with babies, children and young people through the rollercoaster of growing up in their families, schools and communities.
We are looking to appoint a Marketing & Communications Manager to increase the reach and impact of Children North East’s profile and visibility through the delivery of high value and influential marketing and communications within the North East and UK wide, thereby significantly contributing to the development of new programme partnerships and funding opportunities. To achieve this you will work with the Communication team, fundraising team and our delivery services, developing and implementing our marketing and communications strategy across a range of reactive and strategically planned opportunities in various forms of communications print, media, events and digital.
You will manage a small communications team, motivating and supporting staff to deliver high quality work and will have an active role in implementing marketing and communication activities.
Salary £30,151 to £31,653 per annum pro rata (Grade 3 points 33-35). Please note that appointments are usually made with a salary offer starting at the lower end of the scale.
A normal working week is 37 hours full time.
This role is a permanent role.
