Headliners (UK) is a delivery partner for the National Citizen Service (NCS) and we are delighted to be offering an exciting Summer 2021 and Autumn 2021 programme for young people in South Tyneside.
The rate for the post of NCS Assistant Team Leader is - £311.85 per week.
Headliners (UK) are recruiting Assistant Team Leaders to lead and co-ordinate our summer NCS programme departures. You will oversee teams of sixteen and seventeen year olds through our NCS South Tyneside programme.
The Wave Leader will be a positive role model, to lead, coach and motivate a team of staff who are looking after teams of up to 16 diverse young people. Your role will be to support, stretch and maximise the learning for all participants throughout the NCS Programme and that of the staff.
We are very proud of our reputation in delivering high quality programmes for young people and have high expectations of all our staff team and firmly believe that great Wave leaders are absolutely essential for the successful delivery of the NCS programme.
As an NCS Assistant Team Leader you will support a team of up to 15 young people during each of the 3 phases of the NCS programme and deliver activities where appropriate. There is a minimum commitment of delivering all 3 phases plus compulsory training. There is a possibility of working across 2 consecutive programmes, delivering two x 3-week programmes or one x 3 and one x 2-week programme. There are residential phases of 4 nights/5 days within the 3-week programme
