We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced individuals with the skills, enthusiasm and personal values to lead our new partnership project to be delivered in Walker.
Lifting Neighbourhoods Out Of Poverty (LNOOP) is the project name for Community Renewal Trust’s £2.1m Five Year Programme to improve services at a neighbourhood level. Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund it will launch simultaneously in Bingham & Magdalene in Edinburgh and with Building Futures East in Walker, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. It is a partnership approach which is the culmination of two decades work to gather evidence, experience and resources.
The programme will bring together an existing group of frontline specialists who already work in the locality delivering community/local services for public sector and third sector organisations. They will become a team without silos who are able to stick with people whatever their need. It is not only about improving community engagement but about meaningfully engaging every single household. It is not only about better coordination, co-location or linking but about true integration.
