Are you an experienced project manager, self-motivated with significant partnership working experience, and an understanding of the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector, ideally in the context of improving health and wellbeing outcomes?
Do you have an awareness of the local, regional and national drivers of the health and care agenda, with an ability to build relationships and partnerships at a strategic level?
If so, you could be who we are looking for!
VONNE is looking to recruit a Programme Manager to support the development of networks of VCSE organisations involved in health and wellbeing across the North East and North Cumbria. The successful candidate will promote collaboration between these organisations and statutory health and care commissioners and providers in the planning, commissioning and delivery of health and care services and support, contributing to the collective aim, which is to improve the health and wellbeing of our population.
The programme aims to:
- Maximise the impact of the voluntary and community sector as an equal partner in the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care System (NENC ICS).
- Ensure the VCSE sector has a strong influential voice and visibility, and is able to contribute to the development of plans to improve health and wellbeing of the NENC population.
- Support the building of confidence in the VCSE across the health and care system.
You will have strong planning and organisational skills and be adept at managing competing priorities and working under your own initiative, whilst also working well in a team environment.
The role is for 22.2-29.6 hours (3-4 days) per week (negotiable) and offered as either a 12 month secondment or fixed term contract. There is the possibility that this term may be extended subject to funding.
You will be working within VONNE, the regional support body for the North East VCSE sector, in a friendly and supportive team. VONNE is based at MEA House, a hub for charities in Newcastle upon Tyne city centre, but due to the nature of the role, significant travel across the North East will be required.
