Headliners (UK) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage our NCS and digital transitions Projects in the North East.

Headliners (UK) is a delivery partner for the National Citizen Service and this project manager role will be responsible for managing the operational delivery of the NCS Headliners (UK) contract in South Tyneside. We have successfully delivered the National Citizen Service (NCS) programme for the past seven years and are now looking for an individual to take on the management of the programme for the next stage of development. 

Headliners (UK) is funded from the Lloyds Bank Foundation Invest Fund for our Digital Transitions project to develop and scale up the delivery of our recently completed pilot project which trailed a flexible and holistic model of supporting care leavers aged 16-25 to build resilience, make positive choices and take steps towards self-sufficiency by engaging in further learning and the world of work.   The Project Manager will also be responsible for Project Managing our Digital Transitions Project with delivery across Tyne and Wear.

The charity is looking for a project manager who is passionate about managing projects, developing partnerships with community groups, who can communicate easily with a variety of stakeholders and who would want to champion and support the participation and voice of young people in a range of different delivery mediums.

The Project Manager will manage the project and contract delivery staff; manage the development and delivery of the NCS contract delivery programmes and support the delivery of the Digital Transitions project.

The ideal candidate to take on these two projects will be someone who is passionate about raising the voice of young people, comfortable at engaging with and building trust with groups of young people and vulnerable individuals and who can communicate easily with a variety of stakeholders at various levels. You will have a strong track record of performance management and a proven track record of developing and managing partnerships.
